Charles D. Raich, Co-Managing Partner, founded Raich Ende Malter & Co. LLP in 1972 and has been a leader in accounting and business advisory services for more than 37 years. Through his knowledge of the accounting profession and keen focus on client services, he has strategically grown the operation from a three-person accounting firm to one of the 25 largest independent firms in the New York metropolitan area with a well-established roster of regional, national, and international clients.
Under Mr. Raich's leadership, the firm experienced extensive growth by strategically providing companies of all sizes and industries with efficient and cost-effective accounting, financial management, and advisory services.
His own specialties include working with real estate owners and developers, high net-worth individuals, family businesses, and professional services.
| Early in his career, Mr. Raich worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers' predecessor Lybrand, Ross Brothers & Montgomery, and Gruntal & Co.
Mr. Raich resides on the North Shore of Long Island with his family, and is active in community affairs and business networking events. He was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research, where he supports their mission "to discover and understand the underlying mechanisms of human disease; to rapidly and effectively translate this information into diagnostic and therapeutic solutions and to promote the education of physicians, scientists, students, and the community."
Mr. Raich is the treasurer for the Friends of the Long Island Museum of Science & Technology (LIMSAT) and also serves as a member of several corporate boards, including Nathan’s Famous, Inc.
