Eugene L. Stoler is both a Certified Public Accountant and an attorney licensed to practice before the New York Bar. He is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Brooklyn Bar Association. Over the past 48 years, he has been actively involved in providing corporations and individuals with tax compliance, planning and advisory services, and representing them before the Internal Revenue Service (through proceedings in the U.S. Tax Court).
Mr. Stoler has also assisted criminal counsel in the defense of criminal tax proceedings against their clients, serving as an expert witness as well as designing counter-thrusts to government assertions.

Mr. Stoler has authored numerous articles, which have appeared in Taxation for Accountants, The New York Certified Public Accountant and The CPA Journal. For more than 22 years, Mr. Stoler was the New Decisions Editor of the prestigious Journal of Taxation publication.
Mr. Stoler received his B.S. degree in Economics from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, a JD degree from Brooklyn Law School and an LLM degree (in taxation) from the New York University School of Law.
Since 1965, Mr. Stoler has continuously served as a member of numerous taxation committees of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, including: Federal Taxation, Corporate Reorganization and Liquidations, Foreign Taxation, Income of Estates and Trusts, Relations with the Internal Revenue Service, Partnership Taxation, Individual Income Taxation, and Estate Planning. He has served on the Decedents' Estates Section and Taxation Committee of the Brooklyn Bar Association, and for the last two years, he has been Chair of the Taxation Committee.
