Howard P. Tatz is a certified public accountant licensed in New York and New Jersey. He began his career working for a regional accounting firm serving New York City’s garment center after graduating from SUNY Binghamton.

With the firm since 1983, he specializes in large privately held companies in the food distribution, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and service industries. He also has an expertise in the areas of franchising and Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs).

Mr. Tatz belongs to several professional associations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA), before which he has lectured on current accounting and auditing topics, including the accounting aspects of franchising.

He is a past treasurer of the Plainview Jewish Center and is a volunteer for other charitable organizations, including Taste of Tribeca.
